Landing Pages: Different examples (Phix)

When making a landing page, you are essentially making another portal to a link of your website with a special offer, event, you name it. It can be made in many different ways with multiple pages from a nav to a single page with info input or an announcement. The first example shows a side nav bar with different options for info on the product to giving away a free trial, with an elegant design for the consumer (mom). The second & third example is a email input page with info on a new product and an event page for people who signed up for the link (special link not found by search). If you make a simple single page to a multiple choice landing page, make sure the message is strong and the design points directly to the reader.

Mario Kart comes to the Streets of Reality

If you haven't seen my site, there is a lot of Mario pieces. I stacked layers on layers on layers to create this vibrant scene of Mario Kart. Adding tire marks, smoke, and carnage makes these video game stars come to life on the highway. This fast paced race to the finish is at an angle that is different from the traditional leveled image, i think it brings an abstract feel to it.

QR Codes: How to make custom QR codes

Making QR codes are so simple now with websites making them for you quickly and easy. Lately people have been making customized codes with colors, designs, images, you name it! Here are two simple designs I made for two separate events that my company sponsored. Cutting out a square in the middle of the code will not affect it and still can be read, they tell you not to take to much out of it or move only some of the code around or it wont be legible for the scanner. Taking an element from our logo and placing it with certain colors of the event make a nice clean looking design with code intact. QR codes are very popular these days and I highly recommend using them as much as you can.

Logo Designs: Boca Rental Homes

Doing a freelance job for a company who needed a logo, but were not sure what they wanted. I usually make a bunch of logos on separate PDF's and let them choose the feel and then modify to perfection. Always start in black and white since the logo will be used a lot more in that sense of business materials (fax, mail, business cards, etc).

2011 Playboy Sex Survey (Graph)

I found this survey online the other day and found the stats were somewhat surprising. It inspired me to make a bar graph for the survey and the colors show the male and female stats. The women were added because of course its Playboy and you couldn't have it any other way. The fonts used were a Playboy looking font with a Broadway font for an older looking number since the Playboy ages have gone back even before my time. The whole layout fit well together and i would like to think Hef would be proud.

Coors Light Ad: "Catch the Silver Bullet"

Fun idea i had for the "Catch the Silver Bullet" slogan for Coors Light. To specify since i have got some questions, silver bullets kill werewolves, get it :).

Bud Light Ad: "Here We Go" (Spoof)

Not advertising, just graphics as a funny spoof. Don't take it personal people who would frown upon this or Bud Light associates :)
